Timers not working correctly

Hello,

I've had an issue twice now, once on Keyflower #27215908 and once on Jump Gate #28914027. Keyflower was 1 turn per day and many times I played before the 24 hours was even up and had negative time. I let the people at the table know it was happening and no one kicked me off, however, it was very annoying. I reported the bug at the time, but never got a response. Finally, I was having an issue where I couldn't add tiles, so I told everyone and quit voluntarily. On Jump Gate, basically the same thing happened, however, I admit that I didn't notice that the game was 2 turns per day, which I should not have done. However, while everyone else's timer always said 2 days (which I don't understand), mine was always negative. I've lost reputation now and I don't want to again. Can someone let me know what I'm doing wrong, if anything?

2 days is the maximum time for 2 moves/day game.

So your opponents always played fast and always kept their time on max.

You played once each 24h instead of 12h, so you consumed 12h on time each move. In 4 moves approx you were out of time.

OK... this isn't the same issue, but I'm on a 2 moves/day game and the person currently on turn (who has not been around for over 24 hours) has 4 days on his clock. I'm not concerned about him, but obviously something is wrong there.
