Board Game Arena

One of our server crashes at 15:51 CET today.

We are working to restore the situation. At now the service is working with a reduced capacity. All penalties received linked to the problem are removed.

UPDATE :
_ service has been restored.
_ all games (especially : turn based) are accessible again.
_ all penalties has been removed.
_ we delay all turn based emails so that you have time to play on your turn based tables.
_ during last night, we had to switch all the load to a spare server but the load was too high => BGA crashed 2 times. This is why it was impossible to play during several hours.
_ this is our first service interruption since 4 month 1/2. We know that every service interruption like this is painful for a realtime service like BGA, but unfortunately all websites rely on real hardware servers that may have physical issues from time to time :/

Probably. Half of the games running at 15:51 CET are concerned by this issue. All realtime games will be lost. Turn based will be restored but cannot be accessed at now.

I just saw sourisdudesert's 'Important Notice' ..
"We are working on a fix for hours and will continue in the next hours" - does not sound promising- so brace yourself for a longer outage.
Fingers crossed you guys can restore the status of all the running, turn-based games as promised.

Don't worry you won't be penalized for in turn-based.
