Good morning.
Many people like me are Colour-blind and we have a problem with the colors of the players. Would it be possible to put more neutral colors?

The player colors for each game are determined by the implementation developer, and it's standard practice to just use the colors from the original game designed for the table.

It would be nice, but unfortunately this kind of implementation would be up to the developer for each game individually, not something that could be done site-wide.

The game developers should be encouraged to avoid the red green colors and instead put in light blue, white and black.

You may try out browser plugins for colour-blind people. As far as I know, they can process both text and images changing the colours to increase differentiation. I'm sure you can find such plugins for Firefox and Chrome, but I've never tested them, so I dont know whether it's going to help.

Indeed this depends on the developer, and since the idea is to implement games as closely as possible to the original board game, it also depends on the choices made by the publisher for the game itself.

For some games relying heavily on colors we used the ColorADD system (http://www.coloradd.net/code.asp) to make an in-game preference available. But that doesn't work for every game, and as this system is not free to use, it needs to request an authorization for each game for which it's needed.

If you find some games in which some things are especially difficult due to colors, you can report the specifics to the developer through the bug systems to request a change. But be aware that there is not always a good solution.
