With my mates we were trying this game we didn't know and it's pretty fun

One question, while reading the rules, I saw an expedition is supposed to be 30 cards (15 treasures + 15 dangers) + 1 artifact per expe (+ previous not discovered artifacts), however in the 2 games we played, total cards for each expe was not correct (1 less). Is there any explication or something I missed ?

Moreover, there is a slight difference between the french rules and the english ones : in the first one every artifacts are placed in the deck from expe #1 ; maybe this should be added as a variant ?

And if I may, a last suggestion, revealing torch/camp cards should be some kind of card flip instead of moving out / moving in the cards from play area.

Did you account for 1 card already being out?

I agree that visual is a bit much and totally unnecessary. Some people like to see fancy stuff, though I'd think they'd get bored after a while. I would be fine with just a card flip. That's what people would really do.

You know, you're right. I just replayed the beginning of one of my games, and sure enough, it says 29 on the pile, plus the 1 that's already out. I even wondered if it wasn't counting the artifact card in, but that came out next and it went down to 28.

the developer says one card (17gems) is not used in bga version, so there are one card less

Thanks for the info. Do you know the reasoning behind that? Or we are just too greedy?

I developed this game.

There are several editions around the globe of this game with different deck configurations.

For example Japanese version has no 15:



There are some versions with 1 or 2 13.

so I decided to make a "mix" of all deck configurations keeping the balance.
