65 different turn based games. COMPLETE

Hi.

As an experiment, I have opened 65 different turn-based games, I was going for 80 and eventually all games on BGA but I'll see how I get on with 65.
I will keep you updated on the results, I hope to win 50% (if I'm lucky ;)) - wish me luck. Please join a table if there is any left.

Is there any interest in a report for each game?

1 - 0 Can't Stop

1-0

1st win can't stop. 3 - 2. Fairly close game. I lucked out on the 1st turn, but got all the luck back on my final turn. I'm totally overrated at this game, but love it all the same ;)

2 - 0 LITS

LITS is a great little 2 player game.

Unfortunately my opponent made a classic mistake of covering his own squares with one of his pieces.

3 - 0 Race for the Galaxy.

RFTG is a strong contender for the best game on BGA. I absolutely love it.

This particular game was a bit strange game, I just had the better rush, mainly trading to keep ahead. Nothing inspiring unfortunately, but a win is a win. 37 points in 8 turns.

Well you are doing great so far. I do hope to win Tash Kalar and Tzolkin against you. ;)

;) Tash Kalar yes, Tzolkin not so sure ;)

4 - 0 Quarto.

Quarto is a very nice 2 player logic game, still not really figured a proper strategy, just play each turn as it comes, that's enough thinking.

Anyway this game, meh! one mistake and you're finished.

Well I took down the mighty GOGIZA, currently ranked 9th. How that happened I don't know, He managed to pin me down so it seemed I couldn't move most of my bottom row, but managed to block somehow. I think the beginners rule helped me a lot here, I don't really know enough to say whether that was a deserved victory or not.

A fairly convincing win.

Who knew anyone still played this game?

I seem to be getting a nice buffer of wins against some forecast losses coming up, like Tash Kalar (woefully inept skills) and K2 (meeple just died).

6 - 1: K2 (Defeat)

Well I lost.

Perhaps not surprising, I've never won at K2.
