I feel like there are some player using computer programs to pick their moves. Is that a thing? Any thoughts?

With any of these classic abstracts like Go and Chess, there is the danger that your opponent has an expert AI at hand to pick their moves for them. Unfortunately it's a thing, and there isn't much you can do to stop it. I'm sure everyone would agree it's cheating, but there is really no way to enforce a rule against it. :(

I only play such games against opponents I already trust.

Yeah, thought so. I'm finding that adding the text to the presentation helps when advertising the game, "NO SUREWIN OR OTHER CHEAT PROGRAMS PLEASE!", helps result in real people joining.
