The version with the board and up to 4 players is awesome! It becomes so much better to be able to fight for bridges, idols and points. The two player isnt bad but the 4 player version is so much better.

Correct. I came to this thread because the subject line got me thinking that there was some version of Lost Cities that I didn't know about, and here it's just being conflated with its board-game adaptation.
