Carcassonne field borders

Hi guys,

my sister has just bought the Carcassonne game a few days ago, and we already fell in love with it. We got for now only the main game plus Expansion 1, Inns and Cathedrals. A few minutes ago, I had the chance to play a game here, with Expansion 2 included. I got the drill pretty fast, there was one small issue in the end, though, I hope someone can clear it for me.

At the end of the game I thought I had 2 farmers in one farm (it wouldn't have been enough to win the farm, as there were 2 opponents with 3 farmers), but noticed that there were 2 separate farms in the end, an Inn was considered as a border, even if there is a clear green space between the Inn/Lake and the City Wall. Here it is the image (in the centre of it is the inn I was talking about):

Shouldn't it be considered only 1 farm? In case it was everything correct, can you tell me if there are other cards which, in spite of providing a clear green path, are considered borders of the eventual farm?

Thanks!

afaik, that inn should not be creating a farm border. Is there something else between your farmers up north where we can't see?

Also, if you give us the game#, and we can take a look more easily.

It's 36241635. If you look very carefully you can see it on the URL. (But I don't know those expansions.)

EDIT: You do have 2 in the big giant farm that runs all over the place, which is not cut off by the inn. (I also just looked through the rules and there is no such rule about inns.) But you've got another one over to the center right, all by yourself.

Yes, i have to apologize for making you waste your time. I have just reviewed that game and, indeed, it said nothing at the final evaluation about me having only 1 farmer in the big field, there was 1 farmer in another field, who got points. So, that small green path between the inn and the city unites the two sections in the end.

Thank you for responses and once again, sorry.

Not a problem. Glad you got it figured out. :-)
