Board Game Arena

As this site grows bigger and bigger, and more users are participating in the forum discussions, I thought it would be a good idea to have game-specific sub forums where all discussions regarding 1 game can be found.

What are your thoughts on this?

Strongly support this - I was about to suggest the same when I found this old post. Now that we have the "{game} players" groups in Community that would be the obvious place for it if the Admins don't want game-specific forums. The ability to start a discussion on a particular topic - eg tactics - would be invaluable.

I support this too, at least for games that get discussed the most here. i.e. if admins see a particular game is brought up a fair amount, create a forum for that. I think it would be silly to have a forum for every single game here.

As to the "community" groups - no one posts on those, so it's quite obvious that's not where people are wanting to discuss things. I remember when that was added, and I mostly saw complaints that people did not want to be a member of all those groups. I left my memberships, and have never once seen a notice that there's been activity on any of them. Literally, not once. (Which doesn't mean it hasn't happened on games I don't play, but I've never seen it on any of mine.) And that's not a forum - it's just a sort of little message system. A forum is a much better place to discuss things.
