if someone chooses the option to play without Elo,
we should be able to know it before we enter into the room.
(like some other options that are shown next to the game name)
(I didn't find a similar post, sorry if there is so)

Totally agree. I have accidentally joined to tables. That feeling when you do your best to win and only then realise ELO was turned off... Since that I always check when join, however I would be happy to see it annotated at table metadata level to not consider even entering the ones with ELO off.
I would in general also be happy to see table settings during the game. Example, OHell - I have forgot in the middle, was it 1..10 or 1.10.1, what scoring is set, was it really ELO on etc. The same for all other games table settings.

That is available under the top right gear icon and under the "options" tab below the game.

Thanks, I am here 3 years and did not know that

instead of this during game seeing info like how to play this game while it would much more valuable to see table settings and short summary about opponents like their max elo at this game, times played etc.
Ok, returning to base topic - yes, please, flag at list level if elo off.

Absolutely, totally, agree: Please include "ELO on/off" in the game lobby list. I know it's in the game description before you join, but I can't be the only player (by a long way) who regularly fails to check it! I'm really fed up with playing (often long games, eg Puerto Rico) and then finding I've almost wasted my time.)
PS - I've just noticed that everybody in this thread so far as been a member for over 3 years, which seems to confirm that this is a trap which doesn't become less of a problem with familiarity!

Maybe it becomes
more of a problem with familiarity. People start to check, see that 90% (totally made up number) are the way they want it to be, so stop checking. Then realize the other 10% are still out there.

I kind of agree. I hadn't thought about it until this thread came up, and then realized that I don't think I check it half the time. I do sometimes, but I also forget sometimes. And I used to be very careful about it. But, that goes for other settings too, like the speed and such things, and those are total visible in the lobby. (Fortunately I catch most of this at some point before taking the game.)
If the ELO settings were shown in the lobby (list), I imagine we could all start forgetting to look at that as well, but it really only makes sense to have it there, and I do not imagine that would be difficult to do.
