Why so few games/players?

I've tried to start a TM game a few times and never had a single player join, and I've never seen a game of TM waiting for players. What's up with that?

well, it currently has the most turn-based games, as in #1 - no mean feat.
To play real-time - it maybe because it's a very long game, so you really have to be committed and have the free time to play. If you can drag up some friends then it probably helps.

I guess that's the first question: do you want to play real time or turn based?
Also, probably lots of people will set up a game as allowing only players of a certain level and above, so that's why you don't see all of them.
If you want I can create a game and invite you (turn based). I'm always willing to play TM.
