Why it's impossible concede the game, during a tournament?

it's like that for all tournament games, probably because the score of a game is used for tie breakers in overall position and they need the game to be completed to get a full-time score. Doesn't make much sense for chess, but I guess it's just an overhang.

Also on the subject of resigning, if you look at your game history then a resigned game shows as both players "scoring" 0. This is clearly wrong as one person won and the other lost!

Anyway finish game to end dispite loosing it ND too learn and observe how the checkmate got it king pin down

It's really frustrating, when we both know whose won the game but end up chasing each other!
