I find the game a bit short why only 17 points . It not enough to get back the tool investment. Is it possible to have an option of 15 or 30 points ?

dems the rules. It's very likely the maths behind this game will be heavily scrutinised as essentially this is the sole mechanic behind the game.

Unofficial variants are (very) unlikely to be implemented, you could petition the game developer to see if they agree. You can of course play this rule at home.

Yep I agree with Ricardo Rix
We only implement variant agreed by the game designer, and I am not sure that he will be keen on those changes
