How can you know the max number of turn-based games you can play?

Unlimited? Does it bother you? Have you hit the limit? You can open max 3 unstarted in parallel

It's definitely not unlimited.

I've looked at the profile pages of opponents who have had as many as 220 games going at one time.

I'm pretty sure that there is a limit related to how many you already played.
So when you haven't played much here you can't play a lot of turnbased games yet but it wil increase.
I think it was implemented because it happened often that some new players joined a lot of turnbased games
and went overtime or quit them.

But I don't know the answer on your question; how many turnbased games you can play when you just started playing here and how/when it increases.

I just started recently, so I think I have the answer:
- I think you start with a maximum of 4 games
- and then for every game that you complete after that, your maximum goes up by one

I believe that is a maximum of three unstarted instances of the *same* game.
I certainly have more than three unstarted games awaiting players at the game lobby. But they are all different games.
