Add "Minor changes" section on front page

It would be nice to have a dedicated area on the main page for announcements of minor changes. Changes that aren't big enough to warrant an entry into the news, but ones that often send people to the forums going "what happened??"

Examples of recent changes that would fit this category:
*Loading screen
*Training mode for games
*Pop-up/auto-hide General Chat
*Change from xx.boardgamearena.com (where xx is language) to just boardgamearena.com (which affected some browser settings)

All of these changes affected the user experience, and most have negative posts in the forums because "I logged in today, started using the site, and had to re-learn something." Having an indication that this will happen, instead of learning about it while thinking about something else (strategy, which game to play, etc.) will reduce the negative posts.

Listed here for discussion. If it gets enough feedback then I'll add it to the bug/suggestion tracker.

We added a dedicated section in the forum:
viewforum.php?f=5

Sorry but this is not possible to place this on the BGA homepage as we are trying to keep it as simple as possible (it is already very rich).

Thanks for suggesting this.

This still does not alleviate the problem of finding out about user experience changes via running into them instead of being warned on the home page.

All users, when logging into the site, see the home page first.
Then, most users will go to their games. After all, they come to the site to play.
After the games is when most will check the forums, if they do at all.

While a dedicated forum is nice, it still will be found after the user experience change that happens during game play.

Even two lines of text in a banner below the three frames of major news and above the personal news area of the home page would be beneficial.

I love this small and on the other hand huge step! Would you add voting or liking posts option?
