I suggest that the game should allow players to increase the bid by as much as they want and can afford, rather than by $1 at a time. Part of the challenge of bidding games is trying to find the perfect bid to discourage others from bidding, while trying to avoid overpaying.The original game places no restrictions on how much a player may bid, even for the starting bid. The bid must merely be higher than the previous bid. Allowing players to increase the bid by more than $1 would make the game more strategic, tense, and challenging.

Okay I should have read a little more.

I never even saw the coins as they are nowhere near the bid button, in fact not even visible without scrolling. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.
