I was thinking I'd like to play Mousetrap again (nostalgic throwback) but don't want the embarrassment of having to purchase and own a kids game.

Having it on BGA seemed like a reasonable chance to play it a couple more times, then never have to see it ever again. Kids on BGA might appreciate it also.

But then I thought about how the game works. How would the building skill and randomness be accurately injected into the game? How would they simulate the ball bearing being wickedly kicked clear off the sluice shoot? How would the cage getting stuck coming down the pole be simulated? How often would the ladder not be aligned with the rolling slide occur, and stop the ball dead in it's tracks? How often should the gear slip on the crank and totally negate the attempt before it even got started? When should the bath tub jiggle fail, or the trapeze artist miss the bucket?

This sounds like a Dev's random number generator nightmare.

GET TO IT !!!!!

Hello SquashEngineer . . . thank you for your detailed description of Mousetrap . . . truly a blast from the past!

It would be quite unsatisfying to play Mousetrap online. The only way to play is at the kitchen table . . . or better yet . . . on the floor!

Let's not bother the BGA developers with this one . . . we should all be glad that Mousetrap is NOT on BGA!

Decrypto!
It may be tough to have on this website (play with strangers, making sure they don't communicate off the game and all) but if it worked it'd be great!

I think it's in alpha (at least I've seen people trying to make a game, I don't have enough xp to play)

I really would like to see the tiny epic games series on BGA (all of them) I particularly enjoy tiny epic galaxy very competitive
