My fav is Paperback . . . designed by Tim Fowers . . . in the co-operative mode. I enjoy a good word game . . . this one has spelling and bonus points for letters and letter combinations . . . which may cause you to think of the grand-daddy of word games . . . Scrabble! However, I enjoy Paperback even more than Scrabble. In the co-op mode we work together to clear the pyramid of paperback novel covers. After playing lots and lots of games, we were winning most of the time . . . so to make it more challenging, we added in the Attack cards which are usually used for the competitive mode. When an Attack appears, we must each suffer the attack before removing it from the game. Since introducing the Attack cards into our co-op game, we win only about half of the time.

Tell us about your favourite non-BGA board game!

I have a bunch of friends who often play board game every weekend and we enjoy Avalon: Resistance as well as Ultimate Warriorz. The first one is very deductive and required lots of bluffing while the second one is literally a fun and destroying-friendship game :D

Going just 1 I’d say Pillars of the Earth
Add 1 lighter game I’d say Escape: The Curse of the Temple

With no limit here are a few more:
Agricola, Caverna, Flashpoint, Codenames, Catan (only with Cities and Knights), Dominion, Ra, The Resistance, Spades
And expansions 7 Wonders: Leaders and Terra Mystica: Fire & Ice

There are some party games like "Disturbed Friends" or "Cards against humanity". We play them every time at parties. . Here is the list if you like to try it. Bought disturbed friends only because of the phrase "This party game should be banned"))

P.S. Also love Munchkin series. That's easy to learn when someone has no idea how to play it.

RoboRally. More straightforward programming than Twin Tin Bots and Colt Express.

I would love to see the following on BGA:

< 4 players: The Gallerist, Gaia Project, Murano, Barenpark, Abomination, Quadropolis
< 5 players: Energy Empire, The Godfather, Dinosaur Island, Concordia
