Carcassonne tablet page refreshing

I am experiencing problems playing Carcassonne on a tablet. When i try to navigate around the screen by sliding with my fingers the screen refreshes and the opening the game box screen keeps appearing. As a result i camt play properly. Anyone know why? I just had a penalty as a result

My personal experience is: Carcassonne doesn't work well on touch devices. Scrolling the board conflicts with touch gestures of the device. For example: the Drag Down gesture to refresh the screen.
I tried to play Carcassonne on my smartphone once (which has a 6" Screen), and was so irritated that I never tried again. Maybe it's the Chrome Browser. Maybe it's a solvable bug. Maybe it's a general problem of local scrolling on touch devices. I don't know.
