I'll kick things off / reason for making this thread :

I just won the final of a Lewis & Clark competition, and won in 20 moves and camped on the final spot of the board, space 54. Board game nirvana.

The game was very much a contrast of strategies. I played the tool-up, while my opponent played a very efficient / lean boat and very nearly beat me.

Well.... I once *lost* a game of Quarto on the 7th piece. Not my best moment...

While playing my second game of Lewis & Clark, I got 2 leaders early and was set for an equipment strategy. I decided to camp to get my equipment leader back because the 4 leaders I had in my hand were kinda useless. It turns out that if you camp and go back to starting square YOU LOSE EVERYTHING. the goods, the leaders you bought, everything.

So, yeah, I kinda wish there was a warning there, because that sucked.
