Playing with Bots

I just found this site (it's pretty amazing) and I'd like to try all the new games, but I'm scared to waste people's time trying to learn them by doing. I know there are some good tutorials on how a game works, but I'd want to run through a few real ones to get the hang of it.

The introduction game for this site included a bot and I was kind of excited about their being an AI to play against for lots of games, but I think maybe that's unique to one game. Is there a setting I'm missing, or is it just really uncommon? Is there a list of games with AI bots? I don't even need them to be smart, I just need to see how things work. I know the answer might be "use a training game" but it still feels like just annoying people. Eventually I'll coax friends to try the site and annoy them, but I felt like it was worth asking.

You can open a table and restrict the options to just 'beginners'. Turn based games are better as you have as much free time to make a decision.
You won't be wasting peoples time, everyone knows that the first game or two (sometimes 22) is going to be a bit hit and miss as people learn to play the game.

Watch a youtube tutorial.

Spectate a game in progress and ask questions.

Play a game in hot-seat mode, and play against yourself. (I think you can do this, you may have to be premium)
