My opponent has just get off my pill bug with his beetle. I
ood would like to move his ant but there is no such option. As far as i remember i could use it as soo as it was realised. Am i right?

Most pieces in Hive can only move by sliding. The ant next to your pill bug is mostly surrounded, and therefore cannot slide out of its position.

The pillbug cannot move the ant because of the two beetles on top of the hive. The ant cannot slide between the two beetles. It is called a "beetle gate".
