Board Game Arena

I got dumped into a Real Time Terra Mystica game even though I was not trying to play Terra Mystica on Arena. Since it was an arena game I did not have any chance to refuse. So I was forced to quit and take a penalty, because I somehow got put into a game that I had not asked to be in... Any ideas how this could have happened?

Is there any way to turn off real time for some games? Basically, I only play Real Time for very quick games like Lost cities. Games like Terra Mystica I only ever want to play turn based...
