Update the komi to modern standards

Is there any way to update the komi of 19x19 to what is normally used in modern games? 6.5 is the currently agreed upon value, 4.0 would be considered too beneficial for black.

The closest is probably, if you choose "Simple Game" / "Manual", then when you "Create a new table", there is an option "Big komi" under "Table Configuration".
This doesn't work in "Arena" mode.

Sure there should be normal komi on Arena too, 6.5 for Jp and 7.5 for Chinese rules if they are used.

Since this is implementing AGA rules, komi should be 7.5 for 19x19. Given that white wins ties, selecting Big Komi should do it. It does seem like that should be the case for arena games also.

It's very strange that the devs put the AGA button into the settings, leaving the rules to be Japanese or Chinese actually.
So it 's not quite correct to say that the rules are AGA here.

Should we report it as a bug?

It does look like it uses the AGA pass stones to even up the number of stones played. Using AGA rules, white must pass last, and each pass gives the opponent 1 point. So, if white passes first (and, by AGA rules, last also), white ends up giving black 2 points and black gives white 1. If black passes first, each player gets 1 point. The pass stones and points are noted in the game log, with the extra white pass stone, if needed, being given after the dead groups are marked.
If I understand correctly, using the pass stones should cause the actual counting, whether Japanese or Chinese, to end up being the same.
