Someone has me locked into a game and won't play

Someone started a game of Stone Age with me. Then they popped up on chat to say, "Time to quit," and then walked away from the game. I am unable to quit without penalty. And I am unable to abandon the game in order to play with someone who is actually online. How can this be fixed?

its a real-time game right? couldn't you wait till the time runs out? or is it unlimited time?

Unfortunately, if you agree to play a game with unlimited time, or very long, this can happen. Only use this option with people you know and trust to play the way you appriciate. If there is a time limit the other player will time out at some point.
