Board Game Arena

The system tells me I am waiting on 4 realtime tables, but I don't think I am. Nor can I find any of these realtime tables I am supposedly waiting on. I suppose this is some sort of bug... anyone else seeing this?

They are probably turn based arena games that you registered for. I'm hoping they fix the bug soon as there is no way to find out if it's your turn unless you go into the game itself.

Yeah this bug is making those tables all but unplayable.

Curiouser and curiouser...

Now apparently I am only waiting on three "realtime" tables, and one of my arena games has mysteriously disappeared. I couldn't have ended because I don't think I had played any moves on it, but its gone!

One of mine disappeared as well. In fact it was one where we had played several moves. Admins are asleep now hopefully this will be addressed quickly tomorrow.

Also still have a bunch of games that are ‘waiting for opponents’ but i cannot close these games as they were arena turn based games created prior to them switching everything to the new start time based model. Why when they made the switch did they not close all these out?? Hopefully this gets taken care of as well, it just adds to the mess in my turns based games list that I now need to go through manually to see if it is my turn in any of the games.

Looks like all these ‘real-time’ turn based games are being abandoned. I’m down to 4 now of the original 6...with the other two showing up in my game logs as abandoned. Not sure the criteria for abandoning, maybe certain amount of inactivity in a real time game (but varies substantially from game to game...hence why some have vanished while others haven’t)?

For me some don't even show as abandoned, they just vanished. Not sure what's going on, but this is pretty crazy. I'm staying out of Arena mode for now... Too bad, I really wanted a ladder system in place.

What do you mean by "game logs"? Do you mean the notifications page? Mine are not showing up there, but then again, I don't think real time games show up there, so if a bug is causing these turn-based games to be misclassified as realtime, then they shouldn't show up there, right?

The rest of my 4 have also disappeared now. Hope this will be fixed soon.

Goto profile, goto games played, games history. They show up there as abandoned.
