Performance Monitoring

Hi BGA Team,
First of all, just discovered the site last week and I really appreciate the effort that has gone into building it. It is really helping me stay connected with friends and family during these unprecedented times.
I am curious, what is the team using to measure and monitor performance of the app? I am a full stack web developer with 12 years of experience (9 in web development), and I have worked on scaling many high traffic applications. I am not too familiar with PHP, but much of the experience I have had should be applicable to the current situation.
I'd like to help, if I can. I can add metrics if they don't currently exist, analyze those metrics for quick wins, and make suggestions and/or help implement them to hopefully improve performance enough to handle the current large influx of users. In my experience there's usually a handful of things in any application that can be changed, perhaps doing 20% work for 80% improvement.
