Friends and I joining a table without creating it

Hi,
I'm new here.
When I want to play with friends, it seems that I have no choice but to create our own table. Is it right ?
When I am in the "play" section to choose a game, I add my friends (I let the automatic option on), and when I choose my game, it automatically creates our own table.
Is there a way to join an already existing table with my friends ?
