Why did he get different science points?

See the picture. I see we have the same:
7 for 3 kind
9 for 3x3
1
1
=18
But Nicolas has 25. Why??
Am I wrong? Thanks

Because Nicolas has built the 3rd stage of Babylon, which basically gives them an extra science symbol (the one that would score the most).
Here it would be another gear, for an extra +7 points

Because the third step of his wonder gave him another symbol.
So:
