Disable Automatic Mode

With the huge influx of users as we adjust to our new way of living, the "Automatic" feature of finding tables to sit on is making it difficult to start games with large numbers of players such as Werewolf or Saboteur. Werewolf in-particular is suffering because multiple tables are receiving the same players from Automatic mode leading games to start with fewer than the enjoyable recommended amount of 12 players. This problem is something that will likely drive me away from using the site or renewing my Premium contributions.
A suggestion bug was filed:

What are your thoughts on Automatic mode? Does it negatively contribute to your experience with smaller tables or is it a useful feature for some games?
Site admins, is it possible Automatic mode is contributing towards latency and delays over Manual mode? Are there benefits to temporarily disabling this feature from a server utilization or bandwidth perspective?

a thunder of applause for this essential suggestion for the survival of our pleasure to play on the site during the last times.
please disable automatic mode !
t's the same situation for Perudo, 6nimmt, tarot, celestia.... all games are concerned because "auto-join mode" works for several games in the same time...
then please disable automatic mode !

I want to upvote this. the auto-join on large games like werewolf is incredibly frustrating espeically paired w/ the lagging with so many people online. what happens is you get five people autojoining and then quitting bc a game started but then that game doesn't start bc they had the same issue and they autojoin again my table to quit again bc another table false starts ad nauseum.
In order to get around this, on werewolf games in particular, I now have to severely limit rep, level, and language to try and get some normalcy and then manually invite people who don't meet those but who won't auto-quit. Simply adding a box where host can block auto-joiners would solve this.
thanks

Is this causing the fact I get a notification people quitting my game that I never got a notice that they joined?
Then other people quit because I don't start the game without knowing someone joined.

This is actually the same subject (or very close) than another thread.
I'm closing this one and referring you to the other thread in order not to have to answer in two places:
