Yesterday I started a Kingdomino tournament, and my partner in the game disappeared until today. I login to see IM THE ONE with a time penalty!?? WTF. This is BS.

You have to be careful about the time settings on tournaments before joining them.
Some are set to terrible times like 12h per game or 24h per game. These can easily be expoited be disappearing and making one move when the opponent gone away from keyboard (for work or sleeping e.g.).
I recommend only to join tournaments with
- at most 1h or 2h per game (depending on game) for realtime tournaments
- at least 7 days per game for turn-based tournaments (personally like 15 days per game)

Thanks- I just experienced this!!! The player started playing today, got halfway through the game and then I was eliminated because they made a play at 2AM while I was sleeping and the clock ticked down until I was off work!! Its absolutely awful. Cant believe its allowed.
