I just finished playing someone that had 5 games on the go at once.
that means I had to wait for them while they were busy doing something else, like I am there to entertain them. Not cool.
A good bout of spite had me drag it out but I am sure it was not enjoyable for either.

Why play multiple games if it is rude to your opponents?

I assume you're referring to 5 turn-based games at the same time? Because I've just checked their profile and it seems to be the case.
Turn based games are games with much longer time formats, meaning that you don't have to, or aren't obligated to, make a move asap..

Now there's the thing, most turn-based games have their moves played at the rate of like 1-2 moves a day. So, it is probably not the case that your opponent was pre-occupied with 5 games at the same time. In fact, there are people who have like 80+ turn-based games at once, and still play live games. I have 10 games turn-based, yet the vast majority of the time, I have no moves to make there. So I play a bunch of live.
In fact, having 5 turn-based games at once, is too small a number.
It is impossible on bga to play more than one live game at once.

The reason for your opponent's "slow-moving" could also be due to thinking as Targi is a game that requires thinking ahead a lot of the time, and denying opponents. It seems like your opponent is a high-rated player, so that would make some sense as high-rated player see more to the game and have more details to keep track of.

Nevertheless, if you don't enjoy waiting "forever" for opponents to make a move, you could try:
1. Asking them to go faster
2. Play at 'fast' time format, instead of 'normal'
3. You could even try multi-tasking a little bit. It can be helpful in some games that are by nature slow. and doesn't require your attention the whole time.

Or maybe it just took a while for your opponent to load up the game?
Maybe they wanted to form a strategy by analyzing the starting cards?

Your opponent took 2 minutes to make their first move, this was their only move of any significant delay.

You on the other hand consistently stalled, out of spite, by your own admission. You assumed offense where there was none and acted out.

You may also wish to know that your opponent didn't have any active turns before the game started or during the whole 2 minutes before their first move.

yeah, would be good if that was true. but it isn't. I've had to play multiple live games at the same time more than once.
Call it a bug or whatever you want, I didn't even intent to do it. But the site forced me to do so. And it can very well happen to others

Call it a bug or whatever you want, I didn't even intent to do it. But the site forced me to do so. And it can very well happen to others

Have you sent a bug report for this?

While you shouldn't be able to start multiple real-time games, nothing prevents you from playing on turn-based games in tandem.

I would caution against this. Every player has the right to take their full thinking time to make a move. Pressure for faster play should be from the clock (via the second suggestion of fast time format) rather than from other players.

If you visit https://boardgamearena.com/bugs there is a link named "view the list of Reports you voted for". That one should include your own bug reports, as you automatically vote for them upon creation.

I would encourage logging all bugs that you find, not just things that absolutely annoy you. It might help some other user out there, maybe even lots of them. You should, of course, cite all references that would help the developers to look into the issue and reproduce it on their side or to look at the data.

sorry, no. The developers said it's work for them. it's also work for me. so it was their proposal that i shouldn't report any more bugs.

I know how it would be done. I know that most software companies are glad when someone points out bugs. Isn't the case here, so there ya go
