For people reading implementation status (active or inactive) in the first post: don't expect too much meaning from this. A project can be labeled as "Active" because someone created a project for this game less than 3 weeks ago, but quickly gave up. (And a project is labeled as "Inactive" as soon as no files have been uploaded in the last 3 weeks.)
Don't forget that most of the games are implemented by volunteers, so don't be too impatient.
But I can say that a few games on this list will be released soon, and some others will be released, well, sooner or later
(I think that the game I'm implementing will be ready in a few months.)
If you're working on Forbidden Island, can I just say that a few months isn't good enough and you need to get cracking?... ;-)

Seriously though, thanks to you and all the other volunteers trying to increase the selection here, it's appreciated. Must admit, I was delighted to see Potion Explosion in the alpha section, and as a huge fan of Evolution, that could be a great one too (though I already have the app for both...)

Thanks for the clarification! You're absolutely right that this is just a snapshot in time. Some projects are chugging along, but others may get there eventually or not at all.

I think the thing I wanted to drive with this is that if you see a game that you want to see on BGA on the list, this is a great time to get involved with one of the projects. And if it happens to be an inactive project, all the better.

I'm not, sorry (but maybe it's good news for you if you want to have it soon ...)

Hi,

As this is mostly a developer subject, I moved this thread to the Developers forum.

Note: as stated at the top of the Studio "Available licences" page, it is asked not to copy/paste the licencing information to another page. We decided to tolerate this thread because it gives useful information, but remember that the only up to date source to know which licence is "good to go / not good to go" is the "Available licenses" page on BGA Studio.

Thanks everyone for your great work on the Studio.

Thanks for moving it to the correct forum, sourisdudesert. I had made an incorrect assumption that this restriction was meant for copying this to data outside of BGA... not within BGA.

You are, of course, 100% correct. This is not meant to be an up to date list. Just a snapshot in time for people to see how the top requested games compare with the games which have license agreement and active development.

My hope is that this may spur some developers onward. I would love to participate where I can.

Terraforming Mars has its own game site on steam platform on which they make money, if you want to play it you can sign up there, its very expensive
(which means we won't get license for it any time soon)
