Always better to challenge the assassin when you only have one card ?

Post by LOZAX »

Hi fellow gamers,

I'm under the impression that anytime you have only one card and someone wants to use the Assassin on you, it's always the better option to challenge the fact that he IS the Assassin (that is of course, if no other players challenge that fact).

Is it really, or am i wrong ?

If you don't challenge him = you die.
If you challenge him = maybe you die (he is the Assassin), maybe you don't (he is not the Assassin).

Thanks in advance for your feedbcaks.

Not always. It is always better to claim the contessa if you have. Only challenge if you don't have one.

Challenge OR claim contessa, yes. If youre asking if you should "do something vs do nothing" when you only have one card left vs an assassin attempt then yeah, def try to either lie by claiming contessa or call the assassin attempt out.
I like Coup.
