Has it been suggested that due to the nature of Hearts that some tweak to the awarding of points be made? It isn't a game that is played as intended when points are awarded for 2nd place. Can the ELO be changed so that the only positive points are for 1st place?

Yes, it has been suggested. The latest person to do so was quite, um, adamant, and that might have biased the administrators against considering it.

Classic card games are a great entry point for BGA - particularly for older players. Also, BGA could always use more games which support high player counts. Well, how about adding support for Cancellation Hearts? It's played with 2 decks and supports up to 11 players. My family used to play this with as many as 8 players, and it was always great fun.
