Why do all of my games automatically start in Training mode?

For some time now, every game I start is automatically set to Training mode, and I have to remember to change it to Normal mode. it's very annoying, and I can't find a setting to turn it off. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Why would you "love" playing in training mode? Why do you not want credit for playing the game? I only see negative, what is the benefit?

I appreciate Training mode for no timing and annoying "you're out of time" warnings (great when teaching and playing with friends). I use it also for a game with bugged "credit" system for playing the game in one player count - Hanabi 3p Master table can give at most 1point with best score (usually +1 and +0), with negative ELO on all other scores that are often not a result of any mistake of the players but only the unlucky deck. There was a time I played mostly 3p, and my ELO dropped down 200 points in comparison to my friends that played at the same level (and luck ;)), but also on another player counts; one 29 score was equal to at least 5 games with 30 score. Which wouldn't be a problem, as long as I could stay Master and join the Master tables without invites...
Also, for players caring more about elo, I understand why they - when having high elo in Hanabi - prefer to play training mode, to not lose it if bad deck and/or stupid mistake of other player.

Hi, any update on this? My group is finding it very frustrating as we are quite competitive and want our victories to count! There is collective groan when a game finishes and we realise it defaulted to training mode.

Thank you.
