Hi everyone.
Thanks for your feedback on these changes.
Quick summary of this post
On spectator chat: spectators are now allowed again to chat with some restrictions.
On auto-start: it works pretty well but there are 2 issues (play with friends / freeze on refuse to start) that are going to be fixed.
About not answering / taking action earlier
When we change something, the unhappy players are all complaining, and the others are silent. That's normal, and this is why we get a majority of negative feedback whatever the change is.
So we cannot determine if a change is good or bad based of the number of your reactions on this forum. I'm sorry if it looks "anti democratic" or whatever, but this is it: feedback on the forum are useful for us to know your arguments and specific situations, but the number of reactions is most of the time irrelevant.
Evaluating a change takes time, but we always evaluate all our changes. I know that some of you think this is not fast enough, but constantly changing things doesn't help, really.
About spectator chat
We just changed the rules:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15938
However, I'd like to react to some of you who just said "there was no problem: why did you do that?". There was issues with spectators, which was solved by this change. We changed the rules again, and hopefully the problem won't appear again thanks to the new rules.
About auto-start
We identified 2 issues on auto-start:
Apart from these 2 issues, auto-start is working pretty well and especially solved some situations (ex: when the table creator is on another part of the website, or another tab, and was missing the "you can start the game" message).
I've carefully read all your feedback, and saw that some of you are unhappy because they feel they cannot "choose" the latest player who joined the table. But in reality you can always choose to decline table start start (and expel the player), or set table restriction to make sure a player with a bad reputation won't join your table.
Thanks for your feedback on these changes.

About auto-start
We identified 2 issues on auto-start:
- When playing with friends, if they accept too quickly you have no time to change the options.
- When refusing a game, the lobby is freezing.
Apart from these 2 issues, auto-start is working pretty well and especially solved some situations (ex: when the table creator is on another part of the website, or another tab, and was missing the "you can start the game" message).
