Farm around spring or not?

Does farm goes around the spring (source)?
Yesterday finished a match, where the spring tile seperated the field (farm)
So i found Big Box Style V1. 2 (3.7):
"Officially, the farm goes around the spring. So it is a connected farm. This has been incorporated in the RGG of The Big Box, which includes The River (the HiG edition does not) and states that "The field space on the lake and spring tiles wraps around features."
Also the same rules are using Latvian Forum of Carcassonne and in some other Forums in Internet says the same.

In all of my games the spring only has one place to put a meeple, so it is not a field divider.

The spring is starting tile, no player puts it. Maybe you thought about lake?

Right, but both of them behave the same as regards to field boundaries.

Davis, you are obviously taking about game #82570005.
There is no bug there. Your field goes around the fountain and you got all 15 points for it (you had a 3-1 majority there). Your opponent got his 27 points for his field (he has a 1-0 majority there).
Perhaps you overlooked the street at the river cloister. The street separates your fields, not the fountain!

Ahh, yes! My bad. Thank you for looking into that game. Sorry that you need to search for it
