How to remove a person mistakenly added to friends.

My husband inadvertently added a friend named "L" to his friends-list on BGA. Now he wants me to remove L from his list. I can find no way to do that.
You can simply go to the profile of the person added, and click on top right "remove from my friends".
We are working on a simpler way to manage this, as well as writing to specific peoples more directly
