Sometimes life intrudes, please be kind

Recently during a game of 6-Nimmt my doorbell rang and I had to go answer it. I returned to the game as soon as I could, but my time had run out. In the game discussion, I saw that one of the other players had accused me of a rage quit. Yes, I had the lowest score at that time, but calling rage quit when you don't know the facts is uncalled for.

So just a reminder that sometimes life intrudes on gaming. Please be kind and give the benefit of the doubt unless you have reason to believe otherwise.

Given the number of people who do rage-quit, it's not an unreasonable assumption.

Consider that you might have averted such assumptions had you typed in the chat before leaving something like "Doorbell, brb..." (be right back)

A courtesy heads-up before disappearing from the game is better than leaving your fellow players to simply guess, and likely assume the worst.

Hope that helps! :-)
