Make a table manually. You should put "Solo mode" on, and make sure the table is set for only one person.

I’ve tried that too, but the “yes” for solo table never sticks. And when I try to start a game, I can’t choose a game until I choose a friend, so automatically it starts as 2-player. What’s the workaround for that? Thanks.

If you don't click on "Play with friends", but on "Manual", then you can make an empty table, put a maximum of 1 player, and then put it on solo mode. Hopefully, this will work for you.

I tried AND SET IT TO MANUAL, ONE PLAYER, TRAINING mode, chose yes for solo. Then there is a button that says open table to other players.
How can I start it in solo?
