It should not be at all likely to lose the game for the villagers. Specifically, what happens if every village aligned person just speaks out their role loud?
In a game of say 12 players (3 WW) - at max one will get 3 duplicates (WW speaking out a role at random) so automatically the village has identified 6 innocent people. It should be fairly straightforward to eliminate the remaining confusion.
On the other hand - if the WWs identify as ordinary villagers - you still get information about who are the innocent ones with powers, who would then never be voted against.
Either way, it seems like the chances of the WWs winning is significantly less than 50-50 (ie, only if the villagers get really unlucky resolving the duplicates above).
The more the number of unique roles, the greater this problem seems to be...
Experienced players - what are your thoughts on this - why would this strategy fail?
