Hi,
Would it be possible to allow group chat (and display the button at the top of the group page) for players groups of games in Alpha, like for other non-game groups?
It would be MUCH MORE convenient to quickly find available players to test alpha games than randomly invite connected players in this group, who may not be available to play at that moment. Especially for games with not many reviewers.

Well it is allowed. Indeed it's helpful to syncrhonize for games. Except if it was forgotten by error (errare adminomum est )

Neither do I (president and coinche players groups)

Indeed by default chat is disabled for game groups (since there can be a lot of members). An extra action was needed to enable this for alpha, which is OK since the number of players is limited.

Now it's on, thanks for reporting this, indeed it will make it easier (and was what we intended originally).
