We recently prohibited spectator chat:

As we explained, our plan was to do some adjustments, so here there are:

• We now allow spectators to chat when the game is not running (before the game and after the game).
• We now allow the spectators to chat when they are reaching the following conditions: more than 10 games played on BGA, more than 10 days since registration, and more than 85% karma.

This way, we hope to avoid almost all the issues we used to have, while promoting the social aspects of the service.

Hello, thanks for another update

Just for clarification: Have both conditions to be met (the group that meets the 2nd criteria can chat before/after games), or is the 2nd applying to all situations (everyone is allowed to chat before/after games + „nice“ spectators are allowed to chat always)?

Thank you so much for the latest updates about spectator chat. At least it's a great sign for all of us who want to make a great game community!
