Rallyman GT: yellow flag in play, player quit, nobody can pass

We had a player need to quit the game. At that time, the player's last move ended in loss of control with a yellow flag. After that, nobody could pass other cars. The game was unplayable at that point. Can we get an update to allow the yellow flag status to drop if the person that caused it leaves the game (forced or voluntarily)? As it is written in the rule book, "Once the car with the Yellow flag moves, the Flag token is removed and placed on the player’s Dashboard."
