I took part in a 64 participants swiss system with 4 games. At the end 4 players had 4 victories, including me, but only 3 were awarded something (but not me ). As I was ranked 4th, I didn't get anything, despite having achieved the best possible score. Just because I faced opponents that didn't fare well afterwards - which I have no influence on.

Would it possible to award a little XP to the players tied at the top, in a swiss tournament, but out of the top 3? Something like 20-30XP for instance, just to acknowledge the best possible score.

The tournament creator is responsible to set a large enough number of games suitable for swiss tournaments.

With n games in the tournament 2^n should be at least the number of participants.
