Hi!

Can you add Croatian to the list of languages to translate to, please? I believe this would help popularizing modern boardgames and cardgames in my country. Thanks.

Regards,

Slavica

Hi Slavica,

Croatian is now available for translation: http://en.boardgamearena.com/#!translationhq?lang=hr_HR
Thanks for your interest in making BGA available in your language!

Cheers,
Een

Hello, I have started translating strings into Croatian and have noticed that some strings, translated correctly by users, have been altered by BGA into Serbian language version and locked for modifying after that. Can anyone help with that?

Where can these strings be found, on the main page or in a specific game? Can you give some examples?

And are they really locked or just validated? You should still be able to change validated strings for games if you've played at least 10 matches. Once you've reached 100 validated translations, this requirement will be dropped as well.

The strings are in "Main site" module. I did figure out how to change it though, big green check mark used confuse on me and it was super effective.

Example 1 (i/ije/je in Croatian becomes e in Serbian)
Example 2 (da + verb form isn't correct in Croatian)
Example 3(vocabulary)
