Board Game Arena

Whenever I come to this site and hit play now I'm forced to select my game mode, then speed, then play with. Every time I come here I've having to do this. Why isn't it remembering what I last chose?

This was bothering me for a while and then it stopped. I'm not sure why.

Bumping, this. I am also having this. Tried different browsers, same issues. It's honestly really maddening.

My mother is having this too, and as she is a non-tech-savvy person that I'm trying to play with remotely, it is very difficult for her to handle this popping up every time. It is an ordeal every time before we can play our games. Please fix this.

Same problem here.

None of the settings for "how fast a game I want to play" save in the middle only the top and bottom.

Seriously this is really annoying. Why does it not show open games? can i get my membership refunded?

Hey guys, I am not a BGA staff member but reading the forums a lot.

This problem seems to affect only a few users and there seems to be two possible reasons:

1. After you finished one game, the forced selection procedure should vanish. That means if you only play turn-based games, you might have not finished any game for quite some time and so the selection process pops up again and again. You might finish a quick game of Can't Stop or whatever and that should help.
(It is confirmed by BGA staff member Een that the selection procedure shouldn't pop up again after one finished game.)

2. Maybe you need to enable cookies for BGA. (This is just my speculation.)
