Board Game Arena

Audio help please. I have a kindle, my husband has an iPad we play games with our friends who live in another state. Currently we have to burn cell phone minutes to conference us all in an audio chat on my cell phone. I have a premium account and see a button which is a picture of a microphone which I assume is voice chat for the table. When I click on it I am asked to confirm which I do but when the game starts this feature doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

There are actually 2 confirms with a voice chat.
Side note -- it is generally best to wait until the game has started (everyone is at the playing table, rather than gathered in the lobby) to start the voice chat.

Then, as a premium member, you can click the microphone in the chat box to initiate a voice chat. You will be asked to confirm.
After that, it will ask everyone if they want to actually join the chat. You must confirm for this as well. The system may lock before this point if it cannot find an appropriate audio input device. IE, with an iPad, Safari must have permissions to access the microphone.
