Board Game Arena

I am a new player. I know the game, what I don’t know are the mechanics of taking actions. For example how do I use resources, how do I manipulate my population. Surely there should be some sort of guide as to how to play on the site

Just click on the 3 bars in the upper right-hand corner to pull down the rules. Taking actions is easy, you just click on the card you want to take, or the card you have you want to build. Buttons come up asking if you want to Build, Upgrade, or Destroy.
